Ghosts and Candy, Oh my!
The shops in downtown McKinney and McKinney Main Street invite you to come out on Monday, October 31 from 4-7 p.m. and enjoy the sights of hundreds of ghosts and goblins young and old in Historic Downtown McKinney. This annual event provides interactive activities to celebrate a safe, secure, family fun Halloween event.
Get creative and compete for spooktacular prizes! Sign ups for the contest begin at 5 p.m. next to the entertainment stage on N. Tennessee St. Be sure to arrive early as we are only taking the first 20 participants that sign up in the following categories:
Be Green - Homemade / Recycled Costumes
The costume contest will kick off at 5:30 p.m. starting with the youngest age group. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each category. The winner of each group will go on to compete in the Grand Prize Contest where cash prizes will be awarded! First place will win $250, second place will win $150 and third place will win $100. We can't wait to see who wins this contest!
