90-Day Burn Ban Effective August 12
Effective Wednesday, August 12, Collin County has enacted a 90-day burn ban. In turn, The City of McKinney has enacted the same burn ban within the incorporated areas of the city. This shall remain in place so long as Collin County has enacted the burn ban and may be extended or rescinded as weather conditions mandate. No open burning, as outlined and permitted by the Open Burning Ordinance, shall be allowed during the burn ban.
