Update: Citizen Survey
Nearly every respondent, or 96%, responded to a recent City of McKinney survey that they are satisfied or extremely satisfied with the quality of life in McKinney. The survey of McKinney residents revealed that the national media ranking the city as one of the best places to live is justified (according to responses), especially considering the rapid growth the city has faced in the last decade. Communications & Marketing
Working at the direction of the city manager and
City Council, the City of McKinney Communications and Marketing Department serves as the central point of contact for communications and marketing activities citywide.
The team uses private- and public-sector best practices to lead, direct and coordinate McKinney’s brand and image, both within and beyond the city’s borders. The department provides strategic communications and marketing consulting and coordinates and disseminates information to inform the public of city news.
