AARP Drivers Safety Class: 55 Alive Defensive Driving
  • Friday, June 12
    8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Friday, August 14
  • 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fees apply: $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-AARP members. Please register in advance as the class fills quickly. This class does not dismiss a traffic citation.

Senior Sports & Tournament Events   
  • Pool billiards and tournaments (8 ball and 1 pocket)   
  • Pickleball
  • Wii Bowling
  • Chair Volleyball 


Trips leave from and return to the Senior Recreation Center and may or may not require excess walking, stairs, extreme weather conditions and traveling distances. Participants must be able to function independently or be accompanied by a caregiver. Caregiver assistance is not provided.

State Fair of Texas
Advanced registration is required. The bus leaves from the Senior Recreation Center and returns to the Senior Recreation Center at the listed times. 
  • Thursday, October 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 8, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fee is:  $10 per person, per trip. Fee includes transportation only
