In our ongoing effort to serve you better, the City of McKinney has upgraded our Utility Billing online payment system. You can still schedule automatic monthly payments or make one-time payments. In addition, the upgraded system offers many new features, including:
- Online requests for new accounts
- Online transfer or cancellation of existing service
- Multiple payment methods, including bank drafts
To get started, go to my.mckinneytexas.org and follow the instructions to set up your new profile. You will need a copy of your current water bill in front of you. If you do not have a current water bill, please call 972-547-7550 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to get the profile information you need. For your convenience see the step-by-step instructions below.

Step-by-step instructions to register for recurring credit card payments:
- Access the online payment system
- Click "Citizen Access"
- Click "New User" in the left navigation
- Complete the registration information and click "Submit"
- Go to the confirmation e-mail and click the link
- Login
- Click on the "Manage Accounts" button and "Add Accounts." You must have the information from your last bill in front of you
- Select the action you want - "Pay bill" or "Recurring Payments"
