FD: Fire and Arson Investigations

Report Suspicious Activity

Arson is not a joke or a prank. Setting fires on purpose is a crime that could end with a prison sentence.  Be aware of the potential danger to property and lives. Teach children not to play with fire. Pay attention to what is happening in your neighborhood. If you see suspicious activity, smell smoke or see something smoldering, let us know.

The McKinney Fire Department has partnered with the Texas Advisory Council on Arson to offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for arson activities in McKinney. If you have information, email the McKinney Fire Department or call 972-547-2171 or contact ATAC at 1-877-434-7345.
