Mowing & Maintenance

The city is responsible for the maintenance of: 

  • All municipal building grounds
  • Fire stations
  • Parks 
  • City-owned recreational areas and athletic fields
  • Some medians and rights-of-way. Those not maintained by the city are the responsibility of local HOAs.

Please note: The city is not responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of State roadways.

Maintenance includes:

  • Mowing - The mowing cycle for city-maintained medians is once every 7 and 14 days. Inclement weather may delay the maintenance schedule.
  • Irrigation - City-maintained medians are irrigated within outdoor water use guidelines.
  • Tree care - care, planting and removal.
  • Removal of debris, overgrowth and brush from streets, sidewalks and alleys.
