Availability of Community Development Block Grant Funds for Grant Year 2018-2019
The City of McKinney manages funding resources for housing and community development through federal and local funding. As a recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the city uses funds to address a range of Housing and Community Development activities. These resources are leveraged with the city's Community Support Grant (CSG). Effective under the FY 2018-2019 year, the two grant cycles will be consolidated into one annual consolidated grant cycle for greater efficiency. Effective use of funds for FY 2018-2019 will remain within the city's reporting period of October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019.
