Lifeguarding - The American Red Cross Lifeguarding training course teaches the skills you need to promote safety and respond to aquatic emergencies. Upon successful completion of this course, certificates will include Lifeguarding / Water Park, First Aid and CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer. Emergency oxygen is available upon request. The prerequisite test will take place on the first day of class. Students will need to demonstrate a 300-yard continuous swim demonstrating rhythmic breathing, a timed 20-yard-in-water brick retrieval and two minutes of treading water using legs only.
First Aid and CPR - Participants must be 15 years of age or older to sign up. The course is designed for individuals who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, or anyone wanting to learn basic First Aid and CPR.

This course is for police officers, firefighters, security guards, airline personnel and lifeguards. The course is also ideal for workplace safety training to protect customers and employees in restaurants, shopping malls, hotels and resorts, daycare or senior centers, fitness centers and amusement parks.
