Background

The City of McKinney has several properties in downtown McKinney that will be vacated when city offices move to the new City Hall (currently in construction) that will be located on the east side of S.H. 5.

The following properties will be available for redevelopment in early 2025. McKinney City Council and city staff want to ensure that citizens and downtown property owners have a voice in the future development of these properties.

Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

The City of McKinney is seeking a partnership with an experienced development team(s) to redevelop four city-owned properties totaling approximately 4.75 acres in size and located in the city’s historic downtown and cultural district. The RFQ (23-38RFQ) was published on June 18, 2023, and responses were due by 2 p.m. CT on August 17, 2023. The submittal window is closed.
