Old Settler’s Group Exercise Class Descriptions

  • Cycle: A challenging and fun cycle class where you will pedal through hills, climbs, sprints and other drills while enjoying choreographed music. Seats are limited, reserve yours today! Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for bike set up.
  • High Fitness: Transform old-school aerobics into a highly addictive new fitness experience that combines simple, modern fitness techniques (i.e. HITT, plyometrics, etc.) with music you know and love.
  • Hi-Yo: A fun, music-driven, and choreographed stretching. This class borrows the postures and techniques from yoga in a less strict or structured manner.
  • Meditative Yoga:  The class focus is relaxation and has three different parts. The first part of class practices yoga Pilates soft fusion, the second part practices Yoga Nidra which is meditation and visualization. In the last part you learn and practice pranayama which are breaking exercises.
  • Pilates: Experience a full-body workout that creates long and lean muscles. This workout will help you strengthen your back and abdominal muscles. You will also improve your balance, posture, coordination, and increase flexibility. You will use your body's own resistance and sometimes small props, such as the magic ring, balls or weights.
  • Strength Circuit: A total body workout that involves body weight and a variety of different fitness equipment such as free weights, barbells, steps, and resistance bands.
  • Upbeat Barre: Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class that combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training.
  • Yin Yoga: This is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time.
  • Yoga Flow: Involves Vinyasa and Hath style as well. Includes a whole-body workout with poses including forward bends, backward bends, side stretches and twists. Flowing at a slow pace.
  • Zumba: Featuring exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.
