Curbside Pick-up

Place items you want from the library’s catalog on hold at least 24 hours in advance of pick-up. You will receive a notification when your item(s) are available for pick-up. Items placed on hold together may not be ready for pick-up at the same time.

Curbside Pick-up Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Friday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 – 4:30 p.m.

How it Works at the Roy & Helen Hall Library:

  • Park in Hall Library’s main parking lot on the north side of the library.
  • Call the library at 972-547-7323 and have your library card number ready. Inform staff about where you are parked and what type of car you are in.
  • Library staff will check out your available items and bring them to your car.
  • Please unlock your trunk and stay in your car. Library staff will place your items in the trunk.

How it Works at the John & Judy Gay Library:

  • Turn into the external book drop entrance and stop just before the crosswalk.
  • Call the library at 972-547-2026 and have your library card number ready.
  • Library staff will check out your available items and bring them to your car.
  • Please unlock your trunk and stay in your car. Library staff will place your items in the trunk.

What Cannot Be Done During Curbside Pick-up:

  • Donation of materials
  • Last-minute requests. Materials not placed on hold cannot be retrieved at pick-up.
  • Interlibrary Loan requests
  • Return of items. All returns must be placed in outside drop boxes.
