Quality, Accessible, Affordable Housing

The Housing Services Division oversees the development of quality, accessible, affordable housing for the residents of McKinney. The Division utilizes HOME grant funds through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds awarded to the City of McKinney by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to accomplish this goal. The Housing Services Division provides down payment and closing cost assistance, tenant-based rental assistance and rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing housing.
