The Administration Division provides administrative support for senior staff, as well as support functions for the department. This includes:

  • Fiscal (budget) management
  • Payroll
  • Purchasing
  • Reporting
  • Uniforms
  • Station supplies
  • Personnel files
  • Capital improvement programs

The 2015-2016 fiscal year budget for the McKinney Fire Department is $24.7M.


Fire Administration is the liaison with other city departments, including Human Resources, Purchasing, Finance, Fleet Services and City Administration.
