The City of McKinney Landscape Architect / Arborist

The City of McKinney Landscape Architect works to promote tree preservation through site design and by controlling the indiscriminate removal of trees within the city’s boundaries. More specifically, the Landscape Architect is tasked with applying and enforcing the tree preservation and landscape sections of the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 146, Article IV, Section 146-135). You can also find out which plants are approved for landscape (Chapter 146, Appendices, Appendix A) and learn about Tree Permit requirements.
