Project FAQs

1. Will access to my property be impacted during construction?

We will make every effort to have as little impact on property access as possible during construction. When needed, we will place temporary all-weather surfaces to ensure access. Additionally, temporary detours around the construction zone may be necessary in order to safely perform work.

2. When is construction anticipated to begin?  How long will it last?

Although subject to change, construction is currently estimated to begin in Spring 2022 and take approximately 12 months.

3. Why is the City proposing on-street parking along Andrews Street?

Tupps Brewery is looking to develop the property west of Andrews Street and north of Green Street. On-street parking is being proposed to support this economic development and minimize impediments to the flow of traffic.

4. Are any other CIP projects planned for this area?

Yes. Infrastructure improvements along East Louisiana are also underway. The East Louisiana project will focus on similar public utility improvements improvements along East Louisiana from S.H. 5 to Throckmorton Street. East Louisiana Street improvements will also include improvements to surrounding water and wastewater mains along Greenville Boulevard and Throckmorton Street.
