Trade canned food for the chance to add feathers to our Library Turkey and watch it grow in our November Food Drive with North Texas Food Bank. Finish your month of giving with a day of crafts and activities and one last chance to add your feathers to the turkey.

Merry Bass-mass | Old Settler's Recreation Center
Calling all double bass musicians! Merry Bass-mass is a clinic and concert JUST for the double bass! Participants will get a clinic with world-renowned bassist Dr. Jeff Bradetich, a Merry Bass-mass t-shirt, and pizza dinner. We will learn 4-part holiday music in our large bass ensemble and perform for the public at 7:30 p.m., which will feature both the large ensemble and professional double bass soloists. Come see a rare performance featuring this unique instrument!

Camp Locations

  • Apex Centre, 3003 Alma Rd.
    • Cost includes a $25 non-refundable fee for each Apex Centre camp registration. 
    • Member Rates 
      • To qualify for member rates on camps, an Apex Centre membership must be initiated at least seven days from the camp registration date and must remain active throughout the camp you attend.
    • Field Trip Week(s)
      • On-site camp is not available for any campers not participating in the field trip.

Cost Information

The cost of camps varies. On average, day camps cost between $200 - 275 and half-day camps between $40 - 200. Member rates may apply. Click on the camp names for additional details and cost information. Payment plans are also available at Apex Centre.
