You must have either a high school diploma or GED and one of the following:
30 semester hours of credit from a regionally accredited college and a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Two years full-time military experience with an honorable discharge or expected honorable discharge.
Two years of full-time law enforcement experience. This could include employment as a sworn officer, a detention officer or in public safety communications.
You must be a U.S. citizen at the time of your application.
You must be 21 years old at the time of the entrance exam. There are no maximum age limitations.
Health & Physical
Vision must be correctable to 20 / 20 with normal color vision.
Pass hearing test.
Pass a physical examination and drug screen.
