We offer a wide range of water exercise opportunities at varying intensity levels at three facilities, Apex Centre, Juanita Maxfield Aquatic Center (JMAC), and Senior Pool. Our staff is happy to help you decide which class is right for you!

Aqua H.U.G.S. (Helping U Get Started)
Learn some basic Water Aerobics moves while developing balance, flexibility, and confidence moving in the water. This is a low-impact, slow-paced class with a short period of mild cardio for those restarting exercise, recovering from surgery, or with chronic health issues. Beginners welcome! This class is offered at the Senior Pool and Juanita Maxfield Aquatic Center.

Aqua L.Y.M.B.S. (Low-Impact, Yoga, Movement, Balance, & Stretching)
This class offers low-impact exercises on joints and bones, as well as simple yoga poses for core strength and breathing. Movements involve the whole body for agility, heart, and muscle exercise. You will practice balance, stretching, and mindful relaxation. The L.Y.M.B.S. class is a friendly combination of fun, creativity, and moderate exercise. Beginners welcome! This class is offered at the Senior Pool.

Aquaflex
Enjoy a balanced workout with all components of fitness aerobic training. This low-impact class includes moderate cardio and increases strength, improves flexibility, and stabilizes balance. This class is offered at the Senior Pool.
Intensity Level: ☀☀
Hydrofitness
This intermediate-level class blends exercises for greater joint flexibility, cardio, muscle strength, and toning. It is an opportunity to learn additional water aerobics moves and build more endurance. Exercises are often targeted for specific muscle groups. The pace varies from moderate to fast during different segments of the class. This class is offered at the Senior Pool.

Hydrotraining
Learn a balanced workout with all the components of aerobic training. Concentrating on endurance, aerobics, and flexibility using water resistance, these classes provide a safe atmosphere of resistance for cardio conditioning. This class is offered at the Senior Pool and Juanita Maxfield Aquatic Center.

Deep Water Exercise
Moving freely in three planes of motion creates a total body workout without impact stress on joints. This class requires use of a provided buoy belt; participants must be comfortable in deep water. This class is offered at Juanita Maxfield Aquatic Center.
