Event Venue Layout

The McKinney Performing Arts Center at the Historic Collin County Courthouse is a unique venue for any event. Its majestic history and original materials including maple floors, marble wainscoting and decorative trim create a warm and inviting environment. The abundance of windows throughout the building gives each room natural light and enhances the character and ambiance of the intimate spaces.

Ground Level

The ground-level, handicap-accessible entry is located on the east side of the building and serves as the main public entrance. The spacious vestibule area provides direct access to the public restrooms, ATM and elevator. Original limestone walls line the Gallery adjoined by the Artist Studio. The Market Street Catering area is conveniently located with easy access to the first floor reception hall. View map.

First Floor

The first floor offers five entrances from four sides. This floor features several rooms ranging from 740 to 1,500 square feet. Ruschhaupt Hall seats approximately 104 guests banquet style. The Encore Conference Room offers seating for up to 14 guests at the 16' conference table. Noble Hall accommodates 50 banquet-style and 75 guests in a theater layout. View map.

Second Floor

The 435-seat Courtroom Theater is equipped with a one-of-a-kind vintage Mighty Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, dressing rooms with backstage access and two multipurpose rehearsal rooms. The stage in the Courtroom Theater may be removed to reveal the original judge's bench and jury box. The seats with red cushions on the main floor are the original wooden courtroom seats. View map.
