The Red, White and BOOM! Independence Day celebration continues with downtown events that include a hometown parade and the Yankee Doodle block party. Festivities with music, food, kids’ activities, a concert, and a fireworks display. 

All activities are free and open to the public; for more information about the event, email Parks and Recreation. Red, White and BOOM! is presented by the City of McKinney.

  • Alcohol and grilling on-site are prohibited. 
  • No pets are allowed at the event.
  • Be courteous. No parking in surrounding neighborhoods.
