Unfortunately, the Red, White and BOOM! fireworks show has been canceled. The decision was made with the safety of our spectators in mind. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning with potential for up to 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.
Due to external resource availability, a rain date is not possible for this event.
All parking is free and open to the public. At designated parking areas, attendants will guide vehicles to a parking spot. Please note that paved parking will be filled first followed by grass lot parking near John & Judy Gay Library.
Accessible parking is available within the park itself. To access the designated parking lot, please enter Gabe Nesbitt Community Park from the south entrance on Alma Rd. Please note you must show a state-issued accessible parking placard and/or license plate to checkpoint staff in order to access the lot.
