Wednesday, April 17, 2019

This event has been canceled due to severe weather forecasts.

Do You Know What to Do in an Active Shooter Situation?
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter seminar is a 90-minute presentation given by Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner. The seminar will empower you with the knowledge of what to do in the event you encounter an active shooter.

Sheriff Skinner asks the question: would you know what to do if an Active Shooter walked into your building? How do you survive? How do you protect yourself and your family until police arrive?

Sheriff Skinner has over 27 years in law enforcement experience. In 2001 Sheriff Skinner received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. In 2007 he became Assistant District Attorney and Special Prosecutor for the Collin County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. In 2011, Jim served as Second Assistant District Attorney and Chief of the Special Prosecution Division of Collin County. In 2017, Collin County citizens elected him Sheriff.
