We at the Apex Centre appreciate seeing you and your family enjoying and having fun in our pools! For a fun and safe swim for everyone, we would like your help by remembering a few key things:
- Children ages six or under need to have someone at least 16 years old in the water with him or her. This helps prevent drowning incidents because the child is close to a supervising person. Also, having the child close can help prevent incidents like accidentally releasing stools or throwing up in the pool.
- For your and your family’s safety, please remember to only be in the water when a lifeguard is on the stand.
- Please only use Coastguard-approved floatation devices. These are the safest and best floatation supports. Remember, pool floats, arm floaties or noodles cannot be used as a swimming aid. If you do not have a Coastguard-approved floatation device, The Apex Centre has some available for use.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our pool area a fun and safe place for everyone! For any questions, please contact Sumner or Carlie, our Aquatics supervisory team, at 972-547-9024.
