City of McKinney announces Dana Riley as Neighborhood Services Coordinator

The City of McKinney is pleased to announce the hiring of Dana Riley to fill the newly added position of Neighborhood Services Coordinator in the Housing and Community Development Department. Riley formerly held the position of Executive Director at Volunteer McKinney. Riley begins Nov. 26.

As Neighborhood Services Coordinator, Riley will work closely with neighborhood organizations to provide a direct line of communication between residents and the city.

Volunteer McKinney assists citizens in finding local volunteer opportunities and serves as support to local nonprofits and community groups that utilize the power of volunteerism. During her six-year tenure as Executive Director, Riley grew the organization’s reach in the community, partnering with more than 170 local nonprofits. She was instrumental in coordinating community-wide events such as the National "Make a Difference Day" and community volunteer recognition events.

“Dana has expertise in many areas, but her work in community collaboration and volunteerism have earned her national recognition. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her join our team and look forward to great things ahead,” said City Manager Paul Grimes.
