Historic Downtown McKinney Cultural District hosts the 25th annual Texas Music Revolution June 4 - 5

McKINNEY, Texas (May 20, 2021) – This Historic Downtown McKinney Cultural District will host the 25th anniversary of the Texas Music Revolution June 4-5. Festival headliners include Randy Rogers and Charley Crockett, Mike and the Moonpies, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Chuck Mead, Two Tons Of Steel, Joshua Ray Walker, Ottoman Turks, Blue Water Highway Band, Jon Stork, Hayden Haddock, Carson Jeffrey, Dylan Wheeler, and Blackbird Sing.

 

The music festival’s debut in McKinney is its largest venture to date with a reimagined format that showcases live music on four main stages and restaurants, shops, and bars throughout downtown McKinney. 

 

“We are thrilled to welcome TMR25 to the Historic Downtown McKinney Cultural District. This music festival has a devoted fan base and a strong reputation within the music community. TMR25 will offer attendees a full downtown McKinney experience – from our acclaimed restaurants to specialty boutiques. Attendees can set their schedule with the unique opportunity to enjoy live music in a range of settings showcasing our authentic and historic downtown,” said Amy Rosenthal, McKinney Performing Arts Center/McKinney Main Street Director.

 

Texas Music Revolution also spotlights McKinney-based musicians, including Mayor George Fuller and Maylee Thomas Fuller. A full schedule of McKinney musicians is slated to play at McKinney Performing Arts Center, including Jon Christopher Davis and Will and Crystal Yates. McKinney was identified with a Texas Friendly Music Designation from the Governor’s Office in 2019.
