Although National Take A Hike Day falls on Friday, November 17, we are commemorating this wonderful occasion from October through November. With the temperature becoming more tolerable, we encourage you to explore our trails by walking, hiking, or biking. Below are some fantastic trails you can check out.

• Wilson Creek Trail - 10 miles (end to end) 
  • Towne Lake Park – 1.17 miles around the lake + 1.41 miles (Senior Center to Towne Lake Disc Golf Course)

Apex Centre - Tour of Trails Challenge - Nov. 17

Members of the Apex Centre are welcome to join us for our Tour of Trails Challenge. Grab a City of McKinney Trail Handout and receive your Survival Kit. Try one hike or more all weekend and enjoy the cooler weather.

Stop by our table from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. or 3 - 5 p.m. to pick up your Handout and Kit provided by the ER of Texas.

*One Survival Kit per member household.
