How can I suggest an eBook or eAudiobook purchase?
You can suggest purchases of eBooks and eAudiobooks in the cloudLibrary app or on the library’s cloudLibrary website. Making your suggestions directly in cloudLibrary will mean that the item goes on hold for you if the library decides to purchase it.

Does the library have fax and scanning services?
Each library has a Document Station that can send faxes as well as scan documents to various formats.
Faxing is $.25 per page.
Faxes cannot be received at the library.
Documents can also be scanned to email, USB, or Google Drive at no cost. Formats include PDF and images files. You can also scan documents into editable Word format.

Does the library offer Internet access and computer programs?
Each library provides access to computers with internet access and commonly used programs. Log on with your McKinney Public Library card number. Day passes are available for anyone without a library card.
All Internet computers offer:
Windows 10 operating system
LibreOffice (Microsoft-compatible programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations)
Adobe Reader
Web Browsers: Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Google Chrome
GIMP image editor
USB ports
Black & white and color printing
Windows Media Player
NVDA screen reader for the blind and vision impaired
Both library locations have free WiFi access. The network name at both locations is Library Public, and no password is needed to connect to the WiFi.
Printing from in-house workstations and remote printing is available.
